Rivers of Gold
Out of stock
When I have a paintbrush in my hand, the only limit is the border of my canvas.
What I choose to do within the perimeter is up to me.
Oftentimes, I do not have a fixed starting point, but rather I just start. Those are my best pieces. They captivate a candid abstract that could not otherwise be replicated.
This work is created with dipping the handmade straw paper into a bed of gold paint. This imprint creates a landscape and texture that defines the work.
The lace and cement are in balance with each other = dualities balance our environment.
