In my culture, red thread is worn around the wrists to symbolize faith, strength, and connection.

In this artwork, the weaved strings pull all the materials together to produce a piece of harmony. Without the threads, the art quickly collapses into the separation of two distinct materials.

My threads — the very things that keep me grounded — are my close friends and family.
